<VV> excessive play in front end

Before tightening too much and/or replacing the box ... there is a bushing
on the end of the pitman arm that is bad will cause excessive play. One
symptom of this bushing being bad is that the steering "center" may change
... that is, one day when driving in a straight line the wheel will be off
to the left, another day off to the right. Another symptom is a funny
clunk when going over bumps with the wheel turned sharp (especially to the
left). If you over-tighten the steering box you will destroy it. So it is
worth the trouble to look at this bushing (readily available from vendors
and easy to change).
