Hi David,
It looks like no one else has answered, so here's what I know. For reasons 
unknown, Chevrolet discontinued the real and true Corvair lifter (whose p/n 
ended in 644) very early during the latter part of the 1960s. They then 
substituted a series of their SBC lifters as replacements. Your 450 lifters are one of 
those substitutes. All but the original lifters are designed for the SBC or 
other GM cars, and none of them supply the same amount of oil to the rocker box 
that the original lifters do.

So if you want to use the best currently available lifter (and that includes 
your 450 ones) I recommend the deeple dimple lifter from The Source. It has 
been evaluated specifically for sufficient adjustment travel and oil flow to the 
rocker box.
