According to the Chevrolet Corvair Parts Book, published by the General Motors
Parts Division, page 0-8, the retarded crank gear was used in the 65-66 140 
w/PG
and all 68-69 w/PG.  The gear is Group 0.728, P/N 3885399.  It doesn't get any
plainer than that.  And yes it is a 4 degree retard.
