I bought new front HD springs for my '66 Monza 'vert about a year ago, with
intentions to cut a coil and install, but so far have failed to do so. I
need all the encouragement I can get :o).

IMO...wrong thing to do if not a serious racer....

Old spring....cut a coil...firms up the ride...lowers the car...rides nice

HD  spring...raises car....then you cut a coil.......rides too stiff...

Matt..too cheap to ever consider new coils!
