Hi, this thread has been going on for a while, so I have forgotten the original condition/situation that lead to the installtion of the Pertronix. Was the engine running before? If so, what was the ignition system when it was running? Have you considered setting up the ignition/timing from going through the manual procedure then installing a stock ignition to see if it will run under those conditions?
