<VV> GREAT Corvair Article in Today's New York Times!

VV'ers:

I have unsubscribed from this list for a while, but I had to come on 
with the news that on the back page of today's New York Times Sports 
Monday section is a GREAT half-page article on the Corvair.

The article was more or less timed to coincide with Ralph Nader's 
participation in tomorrow's election, but it certainly gets the Corvair 
story right.  Larry Claypool, Roger Gault, and Jim Langdon (of 
Wisconsin) are all quoted extensively.  There are Greenbrier and 
Rampside pictures and an excellent series of photos of early and late 
coupes, convertibles, and sedans.

I looked online on the NYT's website and the article is NOT available 
there.  Run down to your local convenience store, spend the buck, and 
look on the last page of the Sports Monday section.   It's in the "Autos 
on Monday"/Collecting section.
