I'm using 8 foot - High Output Philips F96T12/HO/CW/ALTO 95W and am very pleased with the light, lack of noise, and cold start ability. They make this same basic lamp in a 4' 60W version, but interestingly it's twice the price of the 8' version. Bill Elliott
