<VV> Blower bearing lube

Hi Craig,
You gave a good description. I would caution to use just enough to have
the bearing rotate slowly and then STOP lubing. As an experiment, I would
lube until it got stiff. Then lubed more and rotated until loose and
continued until I blew out the lower seal. Don't do that. The lubing tool
works fine, but the cavity is quite small and you should lube a couple of
strokes and then check rotation until it gets sticky then stop.

As for lubing the rear EM axle bearings, I would NOT follow Richard Finch's
approach, but use the excellent procedure Larry Claypool has in CORSA's
Tech Guide. The complete process is quite well documented with pictures
and text. Required reading for doing this process. Doing this his way and
yours enables you to check the inner rollers for pitting and possibly
replace some of them. Unfortunately the outer rollers are inaccessible
and have more stresses on them. But for both sets of bearings, lubing
frequently and before they make noise is the right approach. If you wait
until they tell you that you should have lubed them earlier, you are too late.
