<VV> Power Top Problems

Hi Gang!

I just bought a 69 convertible with a power top. When I push the switch to the
"down" position nothing happens, but when I push it to the "up" position it
moves slightly (the top is in the up position). I just want to lower the top
to get a few pictures. I disconnected the cables at the motor and it moves
some, but it still won't go down. It's especially tight on the passenger side.
Any ideas on how I can get this top to work, either powered or manual? Thanks
