I think the other way. The Pertronics (or Crane) units are a maintenance
free ignition system. I've done two or three of these, and I like them. The
reports of failures are exaggerated. Granted the Kettering ignition system
is simple, but I don't think the new owners are going to want to fool with
adjusting/replacing points. Now I havn't discussed this with them; just
ASSUMED it a good idea.
