<VV> Alignment Procedures

After reading a few recent postings I'm getting a little concerned about 
having a proper alignment done by someone who has probably never worked 
on a Corvair.  My '63 Spyder will be aligned as part of the 'out of 
province' inspection that is being done prior to licensing.  Is 
adjusting in the proper place a problem if you don't know the car?  Will 
a good mechanic be able to figure it out or should I offer some 'advice' 
which I hope someone will pass on to me.  Waitng to hear.
