 Sleeves and a better block design (more support for crank) were Cosworth's 
recommendations to make the Vega engine into a power house. They were making 
over 270 hp in sports racing tune and figured over 300 in Formula 2 trim. Had 
the power but bottom end could not take it for any time. This was a destroked 
2.0 engine with Carbs running on pump gas.
