<VV> trailer choices

Ron,

I could not find that spec for the model 7814S. I did see mention of 3,000#
rated single axel, but not specifically tied to that model. If the trailer
weight is 500#, then you are only going to carry a load of about 2500#.
Does the unsprung weight of the trailer's running gear get subtracted? I
don't know. If not, there is a little more room there.

I used it a couple of weeks ago - not for a car. Had about 1800 on it with
no problem - behind a S10 type 6 cyl Blazer.

I've seen it loaded with Corvairs - an early 4dr (I think) and a late
convert - on two different (one car at a time, of course [for Chuck])
occasions. It was parked in both instances - but looked just fine.

Dave' note to me said that 3500# was total load capacity (including trailer)
for the single axel. Perhaps there is yet another optional axel? Don't
know.

Attachments (if any) are scanned with anti-virus software.

Later, JR
