Charles,
How about answering a few more diagnostic question, OK?

When this occurs, does the amount of free play of the pedal change from
normal? You know the amount that the pedal can be depressed before engaging the
pressure plate? Do you have the proper free play to start with? How much is it?

Have you tried to adjust the clutch so as to eliminate the free play as a
trial (don't run with it like that) so as to see if you get complete
disengagement after your 3 minute run?

Also when this occurs, what is the situation with the van when you turn off
the engine and shift into first or reverse, and start the engine with the
clutch pedal fully depressed? Does the van try to move? or not?

What is your guess as to why it is OK to start and goes bad after 3 minutes?
Is it a heat problem, or is something stretching, or is it something else?

Did you measure the movement of the clutch fork shaft (from engaged to
disengaged) before and after the problem?
What measurements did you get?

Have you had any club members check it out and offer opinions?

Regards,
