<VV> selecting a distributor

i'd like to get an leg up on a dist for the 110 i'm currently assembling-i've got 2 from a 110,1 from a ' 62 84/102 ,and 1 from a 140/pg.Will be using the pertronix-1.Does Dave Langsather give advice,or just rebuild to engine specs?The tech guide helped identifying what i've got,but still leaves me with the trial/error approach.The rear housing is on,and i'd like to index a dist while i can still see the cam gear mark.thanks,Tom
