My apologies for not getting back to you, but I wound up having much
much more material than I could use, and seeing as I do not work "on
the clock," spending more time talking to owners was not in the cards.
But the piece is done, filed, and we're all happy with it. The story
will run in the NY Times on Nov. 1. 

As it is, I am probably going to lose money on this article, if only
because I'm determined to buy a 2nd-gen Corvair now.

I'll certainly look forward to any feedback or criticism if it's
warranted.
