The December issue of Hemmings Classic Car has a column written by Craig
Fitzgerald. He refers to the "Wall Street Journal's" article which
predicted what cars to purchase as possible investment. In that article
they predicted that the '65 Corvair Coupe, the '70 Olds Vista Cruiser and
the 76 Eldorado Convertible would be good investments.

In his column Craig Fitzgerald, takes exception to these cars as being an
investment. He feels the Vista Cruiser is just a fad now. I wonder if he
feels the same about the Nomads He calls the Eldorado auction fodder. And
the Corvair has all the earmarks of being a valuable car, but it has barely
kept outpaced inflation. He then state that it's the Corvair owners who
have conspired to keep Corvair values low. Every single one of them knows
what any year Corvair is worth and every one will pay you approximately 10%
less that that to take it off your hands. He then call it a "cult classic".
He does mention that it is high on his list of cars to buy.

His final statement is to buy what you like. Enjoy your car and drive the
wheels off it.
