Gawd, I hope so. LOL But seriously, bearings are bearings. The stock 
Corvair blower bearing is simply an off-the-shelf bearing pressed into a 
specific housing. The "stock" arrangement is, IMHO, a deficient design. 
It should have been designed to be much more easily replaced, instead of 
being a "sealed for life" design.
