<VV> Polishing Headlight Bezels

Hi everyone,
I sent out a pair of headlight bezels and a pair of rocker molding to be
polish and the dents taken out.  The anodize will be removed from the pieces
is there anything I could put on to keep them from tarnishing or just use a
good polish?   I will try to polish up a set of door sills that are in good
shape except that the finish is really dull.  Can someone suggest a abrasive
that I can use to take off the tarnish but will not harm the the sills?
