Polish them or have them buffed and then clear-coat them with a GOOD
quality Urethane based clearcoat.    Lacquer based clearcoat will work but
you might have to wax it occasionally to keep it glossy.   Take the bezels
to a reputable paint and body shop and have them shoot the bezels next time
they clearcoat a car, convenient and likely pretty cheap.

Dupont White polishing compound will brighten them right up.   If you want,
you can have the sills clearcoated as well, keep them glossy.  


This is just one way to do things.   You could spend some money and have
the bezels professionally stripped, polished, and reanodized, sills too, if
you want them bright and have the bucks to spend.   You might have to shop
around to find someone able to do this sort of work.   

Me, I clearcoat the trim and bezels, looks good enough to suit me.
Again, that's the way *I* do it, not necessarily what someone else might do.
