<VV> No Reverse - Solved

Thanks to all who responded, both on and off list.  I was trying to rotate the shaft in the trans the wrong direction to find reverse.  Once I did it the right way, I found that the coupler had slipped and wouldn't rotate far enough to engage reverse.  I adjusted it, tightened the @#$% out of the clamp and all was fine.  Now why did my fuel gauge suddenly decide to read over full?
