Heat soaked carbs, gasoline boils out - dries up in the float chambers.  Won't
restart until the fuel pump (while the starter is turning the engine) fills
the bowls sufficiently.  But, still, whatever you can do to make it run cooler
is going to help you avoid problems in the long run.

Maybe that should have been my answer in the first place

carb??
