Anil,

The best place to mount it is on the frame rail. Use a 45 degree fitting
in the oil housing top cover and run a line over to the frame rail. If
you mount it directly on top of the oil housing cover the vibration and
weight of the sending unit will crack the fitting after a while. It
happened to me while racing at Limerock.

Subject: <VV> Whats the best place to mount oil pressure sender

I now got another casting and was wondering if there
is a better location to mount the oil pressure sender? On some peice
which is easier to remove from the engine like the 90 degree adaptor?
Is there some sort of replacement bolt for the spin on adaptor
similar to an AdaptABolt? Any help would be appreciated it. Thank you!
