That's roughly what the English Fords had. I have turbo-charged the one I 
still have by fitting an extra tank (so it has 2), and now I can go nearly 
1/4 mile uphill before the wipers die!

English Fords also had these, later in the 50s. Trouble is (at least on the 
Fords), if the fuel pump diaphragm fails you lose all your oil into the fuel 
system and it runs the bearings...
