Good Luck to you Grant and to all.  Cellular phone towers tie into a
building which is often similar to or the same as the main telephone switch
buildings.  So there are critical nodes affected by power and by loss of
land lines.  The cellular towers and main switches (if they do not have
generators) have 24-48 hr battery back-up and then that is it.
