As a public service, I will be accepting any Corvair vehicles (especially
the dreaded 69 convertibles) that you wish to remove from the road, and
thereby relieve yourselves of the tragic liabilities. Please park them in
front of my house, with the signed registrations locked inside. Leave the
keys in my drop box and you may have a friend drive you home, knowing that
you have done your part to save the world from this dangerous car !
It's the least I can to make the world a better place !
Ralph

Subject: <VV> Tragic News on 69 Monza Coupe
Hi Guys,
I've just received some terrible news about the gold 1969 Monza coupe that I
reported was for sale earlier today. It seems that the owner, Mrs. Mildred
Gnish, decided to run the car down to the local gas station to add some fuel
and air the tires up for the expected flood of prospective buyers. For some
reason (faulty brakes?) she ran a stop sign at the bottom of a hill, drove
onto a busy local highway and was immediately t-boned by a speeding, fully
loaded cement mixer. Naturally, the unsafe-at-any-speed car flipped several
times and burst into flames, completely incinerating the unfortunate Mrs.
Gnish and the deathtrap she was driving. As a result of this terrible
tragedy, I have decided to have my two 69 convertibles hauled off and
crushed immediately and I urge all Corvair owners to do the same. Let's rid
the world of these horrible vehicles! If you would care to leave a message
of condolence on Mrs. Gnish's answering machine, please call (502) 277-3665,
that's (502) APR-FOOL.
Ken Maxwell
