Not if you get the Corvair valve spring compressing tool.  This mounts to 
the upper valve cover holes and has a long lever arm with two different "L" 
shaped brackets to compress either the keeper or the valve spring end 
piece.  Once you compress the valve spring you can rotate the rocker out of 
the way WITHOUT any readjustment of the valves!  Pretty slick.
