I just popped open a very recently rebuilt LM turbo carb and found the choke housing full of "soot" or carbon, or whatever. The engine was not running well and I am looking for opinions as to whether the carb or the engine might be causing this? The carb appears to operate properly and can't find any plugged circuits.
