I don't believe a word of it.  I was lucky enough to have a business trip 
to Belmont, CA before the Tahoe convention when the Convention committee 
had a meeting at Tahoe.  I flew in Saturday, went to Modesto to see my 
sister, and then drove to Tahoe early Sunday morning.  After the meeting 
Seth said why don't we caravan, since we are both going to the bay 
area.  He also said he only drove 65 to 70 mph.  At least we were both 
going to the bay area was truthful <bg>.
