It made perfect sense to me and helped me put his comments in context.  Your
mileage, however, may vary.  (How unfondly I remember pouring over long
rolls of Brush charts and doing calculations on a Friden calculator --
amazing machine, it would do square roots directly.)

Man, whenever someone starts throwing out indecipherable acronyms at a rate
like that, my warning bells start clanging in my head.  You may know what
you're talking about but tossing nonsense at us like that just distracts
from what you're trying to say (in my opinion).
