I figure the Corvair hobby (as in Corsa, our vendors, CPF, etc.) needs as
much help, exposure, volunteers, etc. as it can get.

Membership and participation are likely to continue to drop if we can not
reach those who are on the fence, if we can not help them with their
problems and their questions.
I frequent a Canon DSLR forum and the same questions are asked by the
newbies over and over again. The regulars may get tired of it but the
newcomers need a place to find answers, or they will become frustrated and
quit. As in cameras, as the number of users goes up, the number of
offerings increases while cost goes down.

I understand that 'unapproved' websites and such are not to be confused as
being affiliated with Corsa but if it helps someone to stay in this hobby,
that's a good thing for all of us. There should be some way to find some
common ground with this.

Btw, VV numbers are probably greater than expected, not all who read the
messages are registered with VV.

best regards,

boB
