But the only Vair to have a Chevy  badge on it anywhere was the first 
year model (1960).   After that, nothing on any Vair car except an 
occasional bowtie.   FCs still had Chevrolet script on them, but none 
of the cars did after '60.


...Perhaps the '60 Vair sported the Chevrolet script on the deck lid 
because they'd already perforated the deck lids for the script before 
the proposed Pontiac, Buick, & Olds variants of the platform had 
already been dropped, replaced with less "Vair-like" examples of 
compact, ala "tuck-under" Tempest, Special, Cutlass etc. each of 
which had a distinct appearance which looked like the parent marque's 
offerings.
