Car  Show (Mississippi Gulf Coast) and they showed a nice looking custom
66  Corsa Coupe. The car had Clark's full ground effects, aftermarket
side  mirrors, custom pinstripping, and cragar mags with spinners. The
car looked  pretty nice but was unfortunately on air for only about 1.5
seconds. 
This is Jim Dingman's car from Slidell, LA.......one of the New Orleans  
Corvair Enthusiasts "Swamp Rat's"! This is actually a 1965 Corsa that Jim's dad  
bought in California and Jim inherited it. He has a MEGA watt stereo system  
built into it that will blow the door's off anything around it! Jim does very  
well with it in car shows and we are proud to have Jim as a member! Oh  
yes...Jim's "day job" is a technician at the NASA Test Facility in Mississippi.  They 
test the engines that power the Space Shuttle!!!!
 
Today Jim is headed with his family to South Caroline escaping the rath of  
Katrena. He lives in an area that is prone to severe flooding and where he 
lives  was a forced evacuation area! Cecil understands this all too well!!!

Right now it is beautiful and sunny with just a slight breeze. Since we are  
on the west side of the storm we won't get hit as bad......I HOPE!!!!!!!!!
