Yes, you can.  You can do either, or, but won't get the full effect. 
However, where going to aftermarket very short steering arms and a fast 
steering box is way too quick for most folks on the street or even race 
track, it might be fine for others, especially in autocross.  So you might 
find just the box or just the arms are enough.  Different strokes etc.  Seth 
is the expert on steering on the list, IMHO.

Can you implement chaning over to the quick steering system one component at 
a time.  For instance, what is the effect of just adding the arms, or just 
the box.  Or is there more to it than I think.
