Hey guys and gals,
Just a quick note to tell everyone what a bunch of giving souls we have here
on the list. Of the 5 towns/cities I had listed, we had 4 people step up to
the plate and get something from the hometown of four of the troops on our list.
A huge THANK YOU goes out to Padgett, Scott Trunkhill, John Dozsa, and Mike
Slotwinski. You guys are AWESOME.
Cheryl said the CEO of her company is beyond words... he's a retired Marine,
and remembers what it was like being in SEA back in the 60s-70s at this time
of the year. Hopefully these brave young men and women in Iraq will be back
home safe and sound when their job is done.
Cheryl made it a point to tell these soldiers that these guys from Virtual
Vairs stepped up to the plate and hit several home runs!
I am truely honored to be a part of this group. God bless you!
The stuff will be sent out today, and they should get it by late next week.
Thanks again to those who helped, and to those who offered to go to those
towns if someone couldn't be found... that alone was an honorable gesture.
Maybe when some of these guys get back Stateside they might look into this
"Group of Chevrolet Corvair Owners" and get themselves a 'vair.
Again, THANK YOU... your acts of selfless giving continue to touch my heart.
Sincerely,
Lonzo
