<VV> Pls Measure shifter differences 66-69

I believe the three speed tower IS taller than the four speed one. How to 
Hot Rod your Corvair mentions this and how far to press the hemisphere ball 
up the shaft to make for a quicker shifter. Unless I've got this 'confused', 
which is easy for me to do.
