<VV> LM shifters

It seems to me the most likely difference between the two part numbers would
be the provision for attaching the Corsa shifter box in place of the rubber
bellows used on lesser Corvairs- if GM wanted the shifter to be 'quick'
changing the floor shim stack would seem the most economical and direct
method to achieve it. Is there any difference for 10700 cars for shims?
