the moaning may be a sign of not enough combustion air from the blower in the fender. actually i thing adding air to exhaust may increase the noise. mine went nuts once when the exhaust pipe was loose at the clamp(on the rampy) regards, tim colson 62 years old ( i feel like 162 so slowing down) corvairing since 1963
