<VV> convertible question

Whatever you do, don't park it outside for 7 years<GGG>. The top on my 64
was in pretty good shape when I bought it, not new but good. Being parked
outside, plus having a 5-year old climb up it, finally did it in. Never
took any particular care putting it down or up. The PO did show me to
release the top, push it back just a little and then roll the back windows
down. Always did the reverse putting it up. Never unzipped the window,
used a towel or any of that. If you put it down during the day when it's
warm and put it back up at night, it's kind of a stretch (pun intended).
