Actually, maroon with red interior WAS an option for the first part of 
(I think) the '66 model year. And there IS a reason it was pulled 
mid-year from the option list. (G) If you've ever seen it, you know why.

And BTW, Aztec Bronze is NOT a "maroon shade," which is of the family of 
red. It's more in the family of browns.
