Seller told me that he realized it was a km/h face, but it "looked great" as
a 200mph speedo.

Now I'm torn... I'd like to have it, but hate doing business with anyone
like this.

Anyone else have one they'd care to sell? Monza or Corsa.

You missed one by a few months. I sold my Kilo-Speedo at the Palm Springs
Fan Belt toss last fall. It was a complete 1967 assembly, including the "speed
warning indicator" option. The 67, of course, had the Brake warning lettering
at the bottom of the non-speedo side of the instrument panel face. The
actual, original, speedometer housing is not just a MPH assembly, because the
ODOMETER has to be geared to accumulate distance in Kilos instead of miles. The
actual housing says "Kilo Odo" on it. I may still have that around somewhere.
The plastic lens is the real Trick part, since it shows off that your car can
go "200" --- maybe! I have never seen a Kilo - specific Corsa Lens. The
Monza one I described above, a friend and I found in a junkyard in Antwerp
Belgium in the summer of 1976. I packed it in my luggage for the return flight! I
couldn't figure out how to lug home the Saginaw 4-speed transaxle, so I
didn't buy that!! - Seth
