well i fergot about the server service and tried to reply about the early 
perimter seals. of course it bounced.
i have a method that seems to work well restoring the seal staples. i use 
mechanics wire cut to about 2-3 inch lengths and formed into a "U". then i pull 
the wire thru the holes and twist the ends together until they break. it makes 
a fair looking on bottom and great looking on top staple. i think there are 
pictures on me doing this on the web picture site.  in fact i have a set on my 
bench now to do for the lakewood.
