So...here's a whole bunch of random for you guys.

The Article I wrote called "Going to the Garage"
should be coming in this months Minnesota Corvair Club
newsletter "the Leeky Seel" I'm excited to have
written something...

I have been bouncing around in my life a lot in the
last year or so...I quit school halfway through tenth
grade(this was last year-2004)...I had been held back,
was an awful student (although, I'm very smart...I
just wasn't able to apply myself well in school.)...I
got my GED...spent the summer hanging around...finally
got a job and moved down to the Twin Cities here in MN
thinking I could start college( I had been accepted to
a college here for Audio Recording) and ended up not
going to school, but working in a Machine Shop for
four months...basically just for the experience as it
turns out. I came back home..to my Corvair, which I
bought about a month after I started working at this
shop...only to find my Buddy Kevin's dad wanted the
car out.

To make a long story short...the band I had been
playing with for 5 months broke up, I decided not to
go to college for that major, and I've been sitting
around not doing much of anything but LIVING on VV,
and Clarks catalogs.

I keep trying to find little projects to do, and at
the same time...wishing I knew where I wanted to go
with myself at this point.

So I got a job, and I'm just hanging around here for
now. and today...I had a thought.

I LOVE working on cars, and I had already had the idea
of going into something mechanical...So why not take
my newest love...of which I have spent so much time
learning about...and turn it into something bigger. I
could go to school, and learn basic auto(I know a lot,
but it would be nice to be able to DO a lot) and do
something in the field of Air-Cooled engines.

I was online looking for a whole bunch of things that
are air-cooled to see what kind of a market there
might be. Hell, there's Porche, VW,
Corvairs...Motorcycles... All sorts of things that
people are into. Why not build air-cooled customs...I
could even do weird conversions of like...corvair
engines into Escorts...something like that.

On another note (B flat...little band humor there for
you) I think it's so funny all of the little tiny
projects I've done now cause it's been in the single
and negative digits so much here and my car is outside
now...like...cleaning up and polishing the fan guide
that goes on the shroud to keep the belt from coming
off...the fan that I tumbled...I stripped and cleaned
the fan pulley...all of these tiny little things just
to have SOMETHING to work on.

Okay, I'm done now...hope that wasn't really
boring....I tend to rant forever when I'm on a roll.

Thanks for reading this far...*hands you fellow VVer a
cookie*
