i remove the oil pickup by driving a socket that just fits in the hole in the 
front of the engine..you only have to go about a 1/4 in or so then it drops 
out. if  you plan on reusing it(not a great idea) make sure its a tight fit 
again..maybe tin it with solder or something..(again not a great idea but will 
work).
the flywheel ought to come right off after removing the bolts and a tap or 3 
with a block of wood or wood hammer handle. learn to feel when you can do 
something without damage!.
off subject , how many of you guys signed my 39th birthday card at the big 
bash in syracuse in 1982? i found that card today while packing things and see 
some interesting signitures..a lot of guys that are gone now also.. ahh 
memories?  thanks to all that did..   i may post a picture of the card on the website 
fer grins.
