I either solder it, or I used a bare crimp barrel. Then the heat shrink. 
There are also crimp fittings with the heat shrink already on it!

But I think what Roberts is talking about is a heatshrink tubing with some
schlicum inside that will seal the PREVIOUSLY soldered joint. You DO solder
the joint, right?
