Mike,

I'd say it is a personal thing.  And it can vary by vehicle.  I've tried to 
keep my convert "stock".  By that, I do not mean - by the numbers.  I mean - 
it only has stuff on it that was available for that model from GM. 
 Example - it did not have a clock from the factory but it has one now.

My truck sports a F--d paint color (Grabber blue) and now has a spider dash. 
That vehicle came with and even LESS stock paint job.  Bob B - you on this 
list?  It now has a spyder dash.  The mirrors are as close to original as I 
could find and look stockish.

So, it is YOUR car.  It has to please you - no one else.  If you like it, 
others will, too.
