And it's this reason that I do all my own work.    Not only do you save
about 75% on expenses, but there's an enormous satisfaction of having done
it all yourself.    After all, this is the way old-time hotrodders used to
work, back when...  they didn't farm out anything that they couldn't do
themselves, and they usually worked on such a shoestring budget that they
either learned how to do it themselves or they got a job that would pay for
their car habit... or they got into another hobby.   That's about it.
