I usually keep a spritzer bottle of FaBreeze on hand for stuff like this...
particularly when one of the cats manage to sneak inside one of the Vairs
and pretend it's a litterbox.    Ticks me off, they should know better.    

The fact that it may look like a litterbox is no excuse.     

Likewise for speaker grills and couch armrests, regarding one of the
resident tomcats, before we took him to the local kitty witchdoctor and had
them pulled.
