If you can catch a fingernail inthe scratch, nothing will remove it. For slightly less deep scratches, the Eastwood kit _will_ work (with a lot of time and effort), but 
will likely optically distort the glass to the point you'd wish you still had smooth glass with scratches. The Eastwood kit is best for extremely minor surface 
scratches.

Your best bet is likely to replace your glass. Late coupe glass is cheap and readily available. Maybe a bit more than the Eastwood kit but definitely less than a 
professional...
