I'm not saying it's good or bad, for all I know it can cure cancer.  I'm just saying the guys who are into it are INTO it and that kind of fanaticism worries me and makes me skeptical about the stuff.  Too good to be true ya know.  There are other synthetics available but I don't hear anyone proselytizing about them.

Too each their own.  

It is a cult though, I swear...  I bet the Amsoil guys even have a secret handshake.  Don't you?  Admit it now!!!!!!

Hey now...think about it.  If you used a product you
knew a lot about...knew it was a great
product...wouldn't you back it up if you had the
chance to?  It's not a cult because the people that
use it and know about it like it and KNOW it's
strengths...it's just, when you find someone who knows
about this particular product that knows a lot about
it...you can't mess around with them, because they
know what they're saying, and you don't.

It's like someone saying Corvairs are pieces of crap,
could never outhandle any of the other Chevies, were
slow, unreliable, and leaked oil like a siv.  We know
it's not true, and if you had the chance to, you'd let
them know they were wrong.
